I'm the founder of TheDogHoliday and proud owner of six wonderful dogs - Charlie, Buster, Ember, Simba, Max, and Molly. What started as a personal mission to find truly dog-friendly places has become a passion project to help fellow dog lovers discover the best of Britain.
After years of frustrating Google searches, misleading "dog-friendly" labels, and arriving at places where our dogs were merely tolerated rather than welcomed, I decided to create the resource I wished existed.
Every destination, beach, cottage, and pub you'll find on this site has been personally visited and tested by me and my pack. From Charlie's needs as a large German Shepherd with hip dysplasia, to Molly's limitations as a French Bulldog who can't fly - we cover real-world situations that other guides simply ignore.
